By The Amazonner
The quality of the screen material is good, especially if you happen to be in an area populated by nasty little no-see-ums or sand gnats, which are capable of flying directly through most 1/16" screen mesh. I would be happy to rate it higher, if only for this great feature. The problem I have that causes me to rate this so low, is the build materials. The accessory rail on an RV awning is manufactured to a standard size, so that any accessory (like this) will slide right in. Most accessory hangers are made with a 1/8" solid plastic rod at the center, with a piece of cloth wrapped around it. For this screen room and it's matching additional panels, Camco chose to use a 3/8" hollow plastic TUBE that does not fit properly within the awning rail. Installing this was next to impossible, taking far more effort to compress the plastic tube so it could be forced into the awning rail.Additionally, the dark grey fabric at the top or bottom of the screen room has begun degrading badly, after just a few months. Several holes have developed at places that are completely vertical all the time. Just below the screen on the main front panel, and just below the plastic tube at the very top of the door panel. The degradation is the same that I would expect of a piece of cotton that has come in contact with battery acid - The fabric is just crumbling away at the edges. This has been in use for less than 3 months, and I will not be purchasing another one.

after reading the negative reviews on amazon, i went ahead and purchased this product knowing i'll get what i pay for. but what i didn't expect, was the hardware to be defective. the 3m adhesive sticky hooks that are to stick to the side of the camper, which holds the sides of the screen tent flush with the camper....and worthless. in the directions, the 1st step clearly states to let the 3m adhesive stickies adhere to the camper for at least 24 hours, the risks when applying pressure to them before that, and many warning being careful because of how sticky they are. in the directions, they explain how great these 3m adhesive stickies are, because there's no need to drill them on the camper. but when in fact, these 3m adhesive stickies are worthless. they don't even stick to your finger, that's how old or defective the adhesive is! your are supplied with 30 of these and they are necessary for the assembly. don't be like me and think you'll be able to work through the negitives of this product....it's not worth it. it's worth spending $400 more, and getting what you pay for...quality rather than defective!

This is a very nice screen tent. I had my son attach to my permanant camper. We did have a lot of problems with the adhesive sticking to the camper wall, even though we cleaned the wall very well. We followed the directions carefully. this is not an easy task and you need more than one person.
