Exact Replacement fo OE on Pop UP!

Received Lift in two days and it was an exact replacement for the one on my Pop Up! Very easy to replace, just remove three bolts and replace the cable into the new Lift and re-bolt to frame. This Carefree P30001 is replacement for the P55000. Before ordering I called Carefree and was informed that they only use the P5500 for warranty claims and that I needed to order this one for replacement of the complete Lift. The hardest part was getting the old cable end back into the new Lift hole. Make sure you tape the cable end with tape or string as tight as possible before inserting. I used nylon string and it went right in. Works perfect. It is Easy to adjust the lower and upper stop switches once you have it mounted. The instruction that came with it was spot on. I would recommend this Lift to anyone that needs a replacement.

This is way better than the ol' crank!

I installed this Carefree lift and an electric jack because I hated hand cranking. Ths product was easy to install with the included instructions. My Starcraft pop up camper has a large 12 foot lid with a big A/C unit, so it does need a fully charged battery to operate and lift it. The included breaker seems to trip periodically, possibly because my camper lid with accessories are so heavy. I installed an extra in line fuse (40 amps) as a safe guard. Lowering is not a problem, even when the battery juice is very low. The automatic stop is very ideal. It took a few tries to get stops adjusted correctly, but overall, I would definitely recommend this camper lift to anyone that wants to save their back.
